A new coffee shop and a successful property development company are the latest businesses to sign up to Crown Passages, a modern mixed-use development located just off the main high street in Hale.
Situated immediately next to the village’s main car park, opposite Hale’s new library and community centre, Crown Passages was formerly Hogan’s Restaurant. In 2018, Rostherne based Forward Property Group acquired the site and began a comprehensive programme of renovation and modernisation transforming the building into ten modern units.
Coffee B is the next project from successful Manchester city centre restaurant La Bandera, famed for its Spanish food and clientele. However, while thee will definitely be discernible continental influences, Coffee B will offer a new eye-catching brunch and bar concept with female led events, workshops and networking, plus indoor and outdoor dining.
Says owner, Yashin Keshavarzi, “We’ve had our eye on Crown Passages for a while and have been watching it develop and grow in appeal. The modern, airy space suits our brand and we like that we can offer indoor and outdoor dining with immediate access to parking.”
Also joining Crown Passages is Town Square, who will be using the space as a satellite office for the successful development company. CEO, Anil Juneja, says, “We saw Crown Passages and it met our requirements as we have the opportunity to create a really characteristic workspace and are excited to be a part of the community.”
Coffee B and Town Square join an existing line up of businesses at Crown Passages including Starlight Ultrasound and Baby Boutique, Richtime (Watches of Manchester), and Mulan Bar.
Ben Fallows of letting agents TFC, operating on behalf of Forward Property Group, commented “These lettings reflect the development’s growing appeal. We have two further units currently in the legal process and have another two units at advanced stages leaving only one unit fully available.
“These new offerings coupled with the convenience of the location and the imminent opening of the new library and community centre, will further consolidate Crown Passages as a destination location within Hale Village,” he added.
